How do I network with other illustrators?
Luckily the internet has enabled illustrators, who normally work in isolation, to connect with each other. Look for online listservs such as PicturebookArtists, Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, Illustrators Listserv, and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/picture-books.

The Art Talk message board at the Ispot is another great resource as is the SCBWI website. Join professional organizations and attend their conferences. I have found illustrators in all fields to be very generous with advice and friendship.
